A World History of Tax Rebellions: An Encyclopedia of Tax Rebels, Revolts, and Riots from Antiquity to the Present

Frankly, I forgot how this book ended up on my shelf. Usually, I am not so keen on academical stuff (especially those with "serious" facts, LOL). However, I do love history. As such, I think the reason why I bought this book could be due to its historical attractions, LOL

OK... this is actually an encyclopedia kind of books... As such, unless you love some historical or taxes stuff, this book is going to be a dull and boring book. Honest, to finish a boring book with more than 500 pages is not easy. However, I have this very stupid habit: I will try my best to finish it up no matter how boring it is, LOL.

End up; I admit that this is a real boring book. Every short story came with very brief explanation. As such, I personally could not digest properly even though I keen to know in more details. At the end, it is not as interesting as normal history books. History books at least come with plenty of interesting stories. This book does not do so. It focuses and concentrates ONLY on taxes. Professional wise, thumbs up to the author for collecting precisely taxes stuff. Interesting wise... Hmm, simply not my cup of tea.

Having said that, for a full mark of 10; I am going to rate it at 2 based on my personal preference. End of the day, an amateur in the field of taxes like me may not be the right person to comment on this book...As such, my low rating does not reflects on the quality of this book...
